Hello, I'm Tammy Jo.
I've always been curious about what helps people flourish.
Whether I'm coaching someone through a transition, encouraging a family during a difficult season, strengthening protective factors for youth, or simply sharing tea with a friend, I'm often listening for something deeper than the problem.
I'm listening for who they are beneath it all.
A simple belief.
My coaching is rooted in one simple belief: every person matters. Each of us has been entrusted with one extraordinary life — and coaching is an opportunity to steward that gift with greater awareness, intention, and authenticity.
Your life is a gift. Your experiences matter. Your values matter. Your strengths matter. Most people don't need to start over. They already carry remarkable strengths, wisdom, and resilience — even when it's buried beneath disappointment, fear, overwhelm, or the demands of everyday life.
What we all need is space to reflect, courage to make meaningful changes, and confidence to grow from what's already within us.
It's not about becoming someone better.
Coaching isn't about becoming someone better. It's about becoming more fully yourself — strengthening what matters most, tending to what has been neglected, and making thoughtful choices that help you live with greater authenticity and intention.
My desire as a coach is to help you reconnect with who you authentically are and choose how you want to show up. Together, we'll slow down, notice what's true, reconnect with what matters most, and take one intentional step at a time.
Evidence-based. Deeply human.
My approach blends Positive Psychology, strengths-based coaching, prevention science, evidence-based wellbeing practices, and the lessons I've learned through my own beautifully imperfect life.
More than any framework, I hope people experience something that feels increasingly rare:
- To be fully heard.
- To be genuinely believed in.
- To leave with greater confidence than when they arrived.
The seasons shaped me as a coach
Over the years, I've been a stay-at-home mom, nonprofit leader, community builder, writer, and lifelong learner. Every season has reinforced the same conviction: while we can't control every circumstance, we can grow in the awareness, character, and resilience that shape who we become and how we respond.
Whether you're navigating change, rebuilding after disappointment, strengthening relationships, or simply longing to feel more like yourself again, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
Because becoming your most authentic self happens one intentional choice at a time.
